One of the most helpful pieces of literature for my daily routine is ‘Daily Reflections’. This book is a collection of short, daily messages of hope, strength and inspiration all based on the twelve steps.
There is a page for each day of the year with separate readings. I personally try to read this each day as part of my morning routine. I find the Daily Reflection readings useful as each is short and quick to read, but also gives me something to think about and a daily insight into a different part of the programme. The best part is that these are available to read online for free at the AA website, with readings updated each day. I can’t recommend this enough to newcomers.
